Jess Marie is showing 'What remains', a series of four gelatin silver prints.
Process and material sit at the core of Daisy Young’s [@daisyflyoung] practice. She is interested in the life cycle of the objects she makes and what it means to labour over an object with a short material permanence. Her childhood surroundings inform her work through the merging of memories of both the land and sea.
Alice Cretney [@alicecretney] is a part time artist, mother and founder of Turf Projects.
Rosie Crane Eckmire [@rosiemakespots] is an artist and curator living and working in Croydon. She is interested in the therapeutic properties of creativity and enabling art to be accessible for all. In her personal art practice she performs, illustrates, and writes about home, loss, emotional states, fog on bus windows and grass growing through concrete.
Sonia Thomas [@soniathomasart] is a painter, sculptor and printmaker, living and working in Croydon. Absorbed by exploring interior emotional worlds, particularly those of women, her work is largely figurative, based on observation and reworked through imagination and memory. In her work, she is fascinated by the emotional and psychological space occupied by the subject and in exploring the boundaries between women as subject and object. At the moment she is working in large scale monotypes and in small scale sculptures in bronze, clay, wax and plaster.
